“In compliance with the mandate issued by Kentucky Governor Beshear on March 17, 2020, the Louisville Figure Skating Club will postpone all club sessions until after Team Kentucky has defeated the Coronavirus and government orders are lifted.” Please check back for updates and stay safe!

Prior to the onset of the Coronavirus Pandemic in Kentucky in mid March of 2020, the Louisville Figure Skating Club routinely began new learn to skate classes conducted in accordance with  the provisions of the USFS Skate With Us program at Alpine Ice Arena each fall.  Series of  classes typically began the last week of November or the first week of December and continued through late spring.
The Governor of Kentucky issued executive orders and mandates on November 18, 2020 prohibiting classes or group instruction of any nature at the present time in any indoor facility due to the rapid escalation of the coronavirus pandemic.  The prohibition of group instruction or in person classes applies to gymnastics, dance, ballet, ice skating, voice, swimming, musical instruments, martial arts, painting, aerobics or any other art or sport conducted indoors.  In compliance with the restrictions and executive orders issued by the Governor of Kentucky on November 18, 2020, our figure skating club will defer commencement of our learn to skate classes,  which would normally begin at Alpine Ice Arena at this time,  to a later date.  Please check back at your convenience  for updates as we all unite to  fight the spread of Coronavirus throughout our Commonwealth.

Announcements for classes or club ice sessions resuming will be placed in this banner.
